I am deeply concerned about the future students coming from this location. I have hired and trained externs from this school and their other locations before. However, a current extern shared concerning information about their new instructor Tara. Their new instructor is telling students it is okay to steal from their doctors because they have so much money going around they won't notice. She has apparently misinstructing students about performing procedures beyond a dental assistant's scope of practice as long as the doctor or other staff aren't paying attention. She should not be licensed to practice in this state, let alone teach future dental assistants. If you are a future student, I suggest going to another location or a different company if this is the type of instructor they are hiring nowadays.

I'm more than halfway through the Dental Assistant program here, and I'm really happy with my experience so far. The instructors are great—they make the class fun and explain things in a way that is easy to understand. We also get plenty of hands-on practice in the lab, which builds confidence. The online class option is a huge help for someone working full-time like me. It makes fitting school into a busy schedule much easier. On top of that, the school itself is nice and clean, and the support is fantastic. I even got an email from tech support saying I can email them anytime if I have an issue. That kind of easy access to help is a big plus! Highly recommend this program.

How this place can sleep at night charging students to “learn dental assisting” is beyond me. We had a student come in for a working interview and he didn’t know how to polish teeth let alone assist chair side. That’s the basics! Don’t waste your money- there are offices out there that will train you(and pay you!) and you’ll be a better assistant.

I had a very disappointing experience at this school. I discovered after attending half of the course that they have the mandatory externship do all of the heavy lifting for them; I have gotten externships on my own with zero experience in a dental office without spending over $3,000. We did not learn or even discuss 80% - 90% of what was outlined in the course. The school manager Karen (not an insult, this is her name) was unfriendly and dismissive. While speaking with her about concerns it felt like she had better things to do and I was an inconvenience. She was not easy to contact at all, texts and emails would be ignored and the only way I could actually get her attention was by scheduling a phone call. She was not easy to speak to because any concerns I would mention were taken as personal attacks and she would immediately get very defensive and unhelpful. I witnessed very concerning treatment of immigration students at this school. The students whose first language is not English were not given any additional support. The immigrant student in my class was left behind when she struggled in an area and the rest of us would move on to the new lesson that we then had to teach the

I’ve really appreciated this school so far! It has been a great experience with the teachers Lorena and Karen. I love that it is hands on and that a small group so I can ask questions when I don’t fully understand something. Lorena also said that she would help me to get an externship at the Dental office, which I am so excited about! They’re so helpful and encouraging! I’m hoping this opportunity will turn into getting hired as a dental assistant!! Great school and great teachers:)👌🏻👍😊
